Subsplash Transition
State Street Community Church is in the process of transitioning our online giving from the platform we currently use, PushPay, to a new partner, Subsplash. In order for this transition to be successful, we need everyone who currently has a recurring donation setup in Pushpay to make this move with us. As of September 30th, we will no longer be able to receive donations through Pushpay and your donation will be automatically canceled. In order to avoid any interruption in your giving, we are asking you to move your donation before the September 30th deadline.
Why is State Street Transitioning Online Giving Platforms?
- Lower Processing Fees. Subsplash offers the lowest processing fees of any online church giving platform. We anticipate saving $2,000 – $3,000 in processing fees in our first year alone.
- All In One Platform. We will now be using Subsplash to manage not only our online giving but also our livestream, app, website, and podcast. This will allow for even greater efficiency and cost savings while serving you better.
Partnering with Subsplash will enable us to reach more people, operate more efficiently, and save money as a church.
How Do I Transition My Recurring Donation From Pushpay to Subsplash?
The first thing we want to do is cancel your recurring donation in Pushpay.
4. Click the cancel button in the upper right hand corner and look for the email confirmation that your recurring donation has been cancelled.
Congrats, you’ve cancelled your recurring donation in Pushpay. Now we just need to get you setup in Subsplash!
1. Go to statestreet.church/give and you will see a form to fill out your new giving. You can also go directly to the new giving form here.
2. Enter the amount you wish to give and select how frequently you want to give that amount to State Street. You can also select the date on which you want to make your first donation. After completing those three steps, click next.
3. On the next page, you will enter either your credit/debit card information or link a bank account for an ACH payment (this payment method has the lowest processing fees).
Please note: if you link your bank account for an ACH payment, you will need to verify your account before we can start receiving your donation. In the next 1-3 business days, Subsplash will make two small deposits to your account and you will need to return to the website (via statestreet.church/give) and enter those amounts in order to complete the verification process. We will not be able to receive your ACH donation until you complete the verification process.

- Simply go to https://pushpay.com/login and enter your mobile number. Once you enter the verification code they will text you, you will see a dashboard with your recurring gift in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Before clicking on the edit button, please take note of the date for your next scheduled donation, which will no longer go through. This will help you determine when to start your recurring donation in Subsplash. If you’ve already given in August, you may not want to start your Subsplash donation until September. On the other hand, if you have not yet given in August, we would ask you to start your Subsplash donation this month if possible.
- Click on the red edit button next to your scheduled donation. This will bring you to a page that shows the details of your donation.
