what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:8

The Pax Center’s mission is to keep LaPorte County well-loved and well-fed. Since the State Street Church community began, there has been ongoing work in helping the hungry and lonely in our neighborhood. The Pax Center started in 2015 when a generous donor gave the church a former bar and nightclub. This building houses State Street’s food service initiatives. With nearly 2,500 square feet of renovated space, the Pax Center feeds thousands yearly through the food pantries and community meals. There is also a free clothes closet and resource center.
