What occurs when even the most educated person in the room still has questions? This Sunday, we resume our series Good News People with Week 2: The Curious Soul.

We will explore Nicodemus — a Pharisee, scholar, and member of the Jewish ruling council — who is one of the most intriguing figures in the Gospels. Although he had every reason to be confident in his knowledge, something about Jesus challenged his certainty and prevented him from remaining comfortable in his beliefs.

From John 3:1–17, we explore what Jesus meant by “born again,” why he compared the Holy Spirit to the wind, and what it might look like to trade certainty for curiosity as a way of life.
