Nate Loucks

Lead Pastor

Nate Loucks is a pastor at State Street and the President of the Pax Center. In 2009, Nate and a group of friends and family planted State Street in downtown LaPorte. He is a graduate of Bethel College (B.A., M.Min.) and completed the New Kind of Preacher program at Northern Seminary in Lombard, IL. He was certified in Nonprofit Executive Leadership from the Indiana University O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

Nate was served as a Human Rights Commissioner for the City of LaPorte and on the boards of the NWI Food Council, Family Advocates, Inc, and the Singing Co. of LaPorte County. He was awarded the Spirit of Leadership Award by Leadership LaPorte County, 2017’s Outstanding Young LaPortean by the Greater LaPorte Chamber of Commerce, Michiana Forty Under 40 by the South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Ray and Lucy Swanson Award Community Service Award. He is married to Ema and has three children; Nora, Finley, and Harrison. 

BECKY CRAIN

Associate Pastor

Becky Crain joined State Street as the part-time worship leader in 2011. In 2016, she took on a full-time role as associate pastor expanding her role to teaching and discipleship. Becky is a graduate of Lincoln Christian University and Middle Tennessee State University and has earned her MA at Bethel College.

Becky served as a children’s director for seven years and a full-time teacher for nine years before joining the staff full-time at State Street. She is a graduate of Leadership LaPorte County and volunteers at the Pax Center. Becky is married to Joel and has three children.

Jason Clemons

The Pax Center Program Manager

Jason Clemons is the Program Manager of the Pax Center, which includes providing managerial oversight and support of the food pantry, community meals, and the Jackson Street Community Garden. He resides in Rolling Prairie with his wife Kathy and two children. Jason has over 25 years of experience in marketing, management, banking, fundraising, and event planning.

He is a graduate of Leadership LaPorte County, where he was given the Robert J. Hiler Award for his service to the community. His passion is to reduce the poverty of hunger in our community significantly through kindhearted, compassionate, and loving methods. In his spare time, Jason loves coaching youth baseball and basketball. In addition, he served on the board of directors of the Purdue Extension of LaPorte County.

Taylor Emmons

Children's Director

Taylor Emmons started working at State Street in June 2019, though she has been a community member for many years. Taylor has her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science from Purdue University Northwest.

Taylor is married to Jared and has three children.

Adam Hannon

Adam Hannon is a Detective with the LaPorte County Sheriff's Office. He's married to Shannon and has two daughters.

Neal Loucks

Neal Loucks is a retired former business owner and entrepreneur. He's married to Juanita. They have eight adult children. 

Casey Ryan

Casey Ryan is co-owner of AIM Water Treatment. She’s married to Mike and has three children.

Ty Miller

Ty Miller is a Smart Infrastructure Director at Schneider Electric. He’s married to Rachel and has four children.

Mark Secor

Mark Secor is the Chief Financial Officer of Horizon Bank. He’s married to Julie Secor (our first children’s director) and has two adult children.

Kelli Tanger

Kelli Tanger is an entrepreneur and educator. She is married to Sam and has four children.
